SENIOR WOMEN

PLAY FOOTY AT ABERS
2019 was a landmark year for the ASC inaugural Senior Women’s team, after claiming the first women’s football Premiership title in the club’s history.
After previously fielding junior teams in U12, U15 & U18 Competitions, the club is thrilled to be leading two senior women’s teams in the EDFL Women’s Premier Division and Division One Competitions respectively. We are always looking to welcome new women into our club, build a competitive team of passionate players and support our athletes to reach their full potential.

New to football?
Many girls have transitioned into football from other sports. We will provide you with training required to ensure the game is fun and you have the ability to hone your current sporting skills, and use them to your advantage.

What To Expect
Ideally, we would like the full team to train two nights per week. However. we appreciate that studies and work commitments may impact the ability to attend both sessions. In order to ensure the team is at their best come game day, we do encourage that each player attends at least attend one night a week. An open form of communication with the coaching staff is an expectation if you are unable to attend.
