Congratulations to Tom Pound on his senior debut against Pascoe Vale on Saturday!
The Pound name is synonymous with Aberfeldie and Tom continues his family's long term connection with the club. Chairman Jim Pound and his wife Kelly, who has also served the club in many important roles, proudly presented their son with his playing jumper prior to the match.
Tom played all of his junior football with Aberfeldie before venturing briefly to Woodend in the Riddell District Football League where he played senior football. Tom has returned to Aberfeldie this season and has consistently delivered strong performances in the Development team which ultimately saw him rewarded with selection in the seniors against Pascoe Vale.
