The Aberfeldie Sports Club (ASC) would like to announce that our Senior Women’s Football President Sian Eddington will be stepping down as President and moving into the role of Football Operations for our Senior Women’s Program in 2025.
Sian has made a huge contribution to our club as Senior Women’s Football President for the 2023 & 2024 Season.
The ASC would like to sincerely thank Sian for everything she has done for the Club and recognise the Club is in a better place for having Sian’s involvement.
We are delighted to announce Laz Shaw as the new Senior Women’s Football President for 2025 season having been endorsed at the Senior Women’s AGM and by the ASC Board.
Laz has held many roles over the years having been involved in Junior and Men’s Committees, and more recently held the position of Secretary for Senior Women’s Football in 2024.
Laz also received the Thelma Madden Award earlier this year for her work and commitment to Abers over many years.
The ASC are very fortunate to have someone like Laz agree to take on the role and confident she will be another excellent Senior Women’s President of our Club.
