Dear Families,
As you would be aware we are extremely lucky to have a new facility being constructed at Clifton Park. We will have some challenges throughout the year while we try and continue to operate without a permanent pavilion.
There has been some temporary change rooms and showers installed in a compound between the Scout Hall and the Cricket Nets and we will be trying to operate a canteen located near the tennis court playground, or in the bowls club, during games.
We are very fortunate to have great neighbours and have been able to secure the use of the Aberfeldie Community Bowls Club (ACBC) for our social activities.
The ACBC will be open on Thursday and Friday evenings, and on Saturdays immediately after our Senior Men’s home games.
It is absolutely vital that we respect the Aberfeldie Community Bowls Clubs facilities.
Please be sure not to wear football boots inside their social rooms and under NO circumstances is anyone permitted to enter the bowling greens. Failure to abide by these requirements will be dealt with very seriously and penalties will apply.
We encourage everyone to come in to the ACBC Social rooms and continue to enjoy the social aspect of the club and ask for your patience during the year as the construction of the new pavilion continues.
Regards
Jim Pound
