The Senior Women's section wishes to provide notification of the upcoming Annual General Meeting to be held on Tuesday 17 September at 7pm. All Club Members are invited to attend this meeting.

Be part of the Coaching Team for Aberfeldie Football Club Women’s Program!

 

Aberfeldie is one of the most successful Clubs in the EDFL. 2023 and 2024 Season all 3 Senior Women’s Teams across Premier Division, Reserve / Division 2 and U18.5 advanced to the Grand Final and was considered another successful year for our Women’s Program.

 

2024 season has come to an end, we are now preparing for our 2025 season and to ensure we continue our success we are seeking Coaching applications for the following key roles:

 

-              Senior Women’s Head Coach

-              Senior Women’s Reserve Coach

-              Senior Women’s U18.5 Coach

-              Senior Women’s U18.5.2 Coach

 

We are seeking experienced Football Coaches to lead our Team and our Football Program. The ideal Applicant will have a passion for the sport, a commitment to developing our Footballers both on and off the field, and the ability to foster a winning culture. This is an exciting opportunity for dedicated Coaches to make a significant impact on our Teams and our Club.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Develop and implement effective coaching strategies to lead the football team to success, including development of game plans, and in-game adjustments.

  • Player Development: Mentor and develop players' athletic skills, sportsmanship, and personal growth, focusing on both individual and team improvement.

  • Program Management: Oversee all aspects of the football program, including recruitment, attend weekly training sessions, game preparation, and post-game analysis.

  • Engagement: Build positive relationships with Players, Sponsors and the broader Aberfeldie community to promote the football program and encourage a one club culture across our Club.

 

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Football Coach with a strong track record of success

  • Deep knowledge of football tactics, strategies, and rules.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and motivational skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with other Coaching Staff, Administrators, and other Aberfeldie Personnel
