TAC CLUB REWARDS PROGRAM SURVEY

Is back, giving grassroots football clubs the opportunity to earn a share in funding by participating in the mission to eliminate deaths and serious injuries on our roads.

Complete the Following Survey.

Not only do your efforts count towards your Club Rewards application, but there are also 5 x $1,000 Sherrin vouchers up for grabs. This activity is completely confidential and will help TAC understand more about perceptions, behaviour, and challenges across Victoria.

The survey is open between 17 May and 2 July and will take around 10 minutes, with a short follow-up survey 2 weeks after completion.

HUGE PLAYER ANNOUNCEMENTS

The Aberfeldie Cricket Section is pleased to announce the resigning of last seasons big three recruits:

ANTHONY BARTON - opening bat, also in VTCA team of the year, the enforcer and leader of our batting line-up is back again to make amends after cruelly succumbing to a injury just weeks before our finals campaign.

JACK SHEPPARD - opening bowler, spearhead and leader of our bowling attack, mentor to our next gen bowlers and overall standards setter.

The club is also excited to announce the massive returns of:

KIEREN GRAY - the general, past premiership player and coach. A great leader and Abers person returns after a couple seasons at Williamstown CYMS taking out the batting and club champion awards last season.

RAVI KARANARATNE - all rounder superstar, 6-time past club championship has been a busy man since last playing for Abers. He made his Twenty20 debut for Negambo Cricket Club in the 2018–19 SLC Twenty20 Tournament. Played for english clubs in in the Cornwall Premier League, and Kent Premier League. But most recently playing between seasons in the Oman Premier League, and in Ireland Premier League for Coleraine during their 2022 and 2023 campaigns.

To say we are excited to have him back is an understatement, and from the man himself "I have a unfinished business with Abers... winning a flag"

The club would also like to take the time to acknowledge an Abers legend who is parting ways this year - Sohan Boralessa. A Premiership Captain of the club who lead up into VTCA Senior Division. His commitment, dedication and professionalism knows no bounds and not go unforgotten. All the best for the future mate!

And exciting year to come!

Go Abers!
