The 59th person to be elevated to Sports Club Life Membership. Leigh has spent over 30 years with the Aberfeldie Sports Club, first as a junior cricket and football player. Leigh played in 4 successive U18 Premierships in football and a 4th grade cricket premiership. Since retiring from playing, Leigh moved into serving the club in whatever role the club needed. He has been Vice Chairman of the Sport Club since 2010 and in recent years an active Junior parent through Team Manager, Coordinator and Assistant Coach roles. The club isa indebted to Leigh for his love, dedication and service to the club and it is a long overdue honour to have him inducted as a life member.
