2018 was a landmark year for the Aberfeldie Sports Club, with the club fielding its inaugural senior women’s football side in the EDFL after previously fielding junior teams in U12, U15 & U18 competitions.
In 2019, the club is thrilled to be able to field two senior women’s teams, competing in the EDFL Women’s Premier Division and Division One Competitions respectively. We are always looking to welcome new women into our club, so if you are interested in coming along, reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org.

Why Play At Abers?
Be First – This is your chance to be part of history as we seek out our first Women’s Senior Premiership.
Be You – We strive for an inclusive culture, embrace diversity & individuality. We believe everyone has a leader inside them that we want to grow and develop through football – being the best you can be and achieving your potential.
Each player will have different motivations for football. Whether you are here to embrace life as a local footy player or be the next Daisy Pearce, our environment will support you.
Be Abers – Abers has a ‘whole of club’ philosophy and we strive to embrace it. Our results on and off the field have made us the strongest club in the area, with families from all over the region enjoying membership. We aim to assimilate into the club rather than be our own separate team.
What To Expect
We expect to be training two nights per week. Ideally, we would like the full team to train both nights, however we appreciate that studies and work commitments may impact the ability to attend both sessions. An open form of communication with the coaching staff is an expectation if you are unable to attend. In order to ensure the team is at their best come game day we do encourage that each player attends at least attend one night a week.
On a Thursday night during the season, teams (including the Senior Women’s team) will be announced at the Jack Chalmers Pavilion (clubrooms) at Clifton Park. Meals are available, and it is a great time to socialise with your teammates and the rest of the club.
